Cages of steel are the new norm for me. I've said my goodbyes to the mockingbirds singing their sweet midnight songs and to the beautiful golden hills of California. I will miss them while I'm gone, but I will return. My "goodbye" to California is more like a "see you soon". As of August 14th, 2017, I live in New York City and will be attending Columbia University for the masters in Ecology, Evolution, and Conservation Biology program.
